Working With Excellence
Our Founders
Co-founders Dustin Willoughby and Derek Broda bring over 30 years of combined experience in renovations and restoration.
Dustin has spent the past decade serving the East Kootenays as a trusted contractor, specializing in both residential and commercial projects. He holds Red Seal certification in carpentry, a second-year plumbing apprenticeship, and multiple safety certifications including WRT, AMRT, asbestos awareness, First Aid, and CPR. Outside of work, he’s active in the local hockey community and enjoys golfing.
Derek began his restoration career in Ottawa, ON, working on everything from residential jobs to large-scale disaster responses like Hurricanes Katrina and Rita. He later ran his own renovation company for 11 years before relocating to the East Kootenays. Derek also holds certifications in WRT, AMRT, FSRT, asbestos safety, First Aid, and CPR.
Together, they lead Fisher Peak Restoration with hands-on experience, strong values, and a deep commitment to quality service.

Water Damage
What began as a small toilet leak on the second floor quickly caused extensive water damage throughout the home, affecting the upstairs bathroom, main floor, and basement. After emergency mitigation, the homeowners chose to fully renovate, transforming the space from top to bottom.
New Build Finishing
Our team was brought in to complete all finishing work for this new build, including the installation of doors, casings, baseboards, hand railings, and final trim details, allowing the new homeowners to move in as scheduled and enjoy their beautifully finished space from day one.
Commercial Renovation
Fisher Peak Restoration completed a full renovation of an empty commercial space for Maritime Travel in Tamarack Mall. The project included a complete interior buildout and was successfully finished in under two months, ready for business on schedule.
